polar opposites - the science and main library buildings...

Lovedale

...in my eyes anyway! Thomas Hall was our Science building when we were in Junior and Senior schools. At any given time, you could smell rotten eggs walking by and just know there was a kid inside going: hmmmm, I wonder what would happen if I mixed these two together...? I wish I could say I loved this building more. During Founders, it housed an arts exhibit - displaying my more pathetic attempts at needlework tucked away amidst far more impressive works.

The library building next door was one of my favorite places in school, filled with dusty books a hundred years old and a terrific collection of Time Life books housed in the room with the window that you can see in the left. I would have happily spent every waking hour here; my teachers had other plans.
