You have been on my mind a lot the past few days Piper. I was praying that your family was OK. I didn't realize this was the city you grew up in. It's a horrible feeling to have people you love so close to terrorist activity. I am so happy to hear that your friends and loved ones are safe. I hope India does start a coordinated effort to reach citizens. It's amazing how much awareness can help combat terrorism -- I know that a lot of citizens here have actually stopped terrorists attacks by being aware of what was going on around them.

Thanks so much, Claire! It's a momentous week all around. India's reaction to this is crucial. The country must react - and more than just militarily. There have been so many attacks in various cities these past few months and they have not really forced the government into proactively educating people and alerting them ahead of time. That MUST change.

A Wartime Prayer

  • Eleanor Roosevelt:
Dear Lord, Lest I continue My complacent way, Help me to remember that somewhere, Somehow out there A man died for me today. As long as there be war, I then must Ask and answer Am I worth dying for?
